Space, systems and specification

Lighting is never specified in isolation. It has to work in a factory, warehouse, office, public space, hotel or retail interior — each with different human, operational and design realities. In some spaces, light, acoustics and furniture shape the experience. In others, HCL, sensors and sophisticated LMS or BMS logic sit beneath the visible installation.

The commercial question remains remarkably similar: who defines the requirement, who owns the system and whether the solution still performs after handover.
